Le célèbre fabricant de crosses, Jerry Fisher, déclare : "En 20 ans de fabrication de crosses, c'est le meilleur outil de fraisage que j'ai jamais utilisé, et j'en ai essayé quelques-uns. Tiens-le comme un crayon et travaille de droite à gauche, ou de gauche à droite, selon la direction du grain du bois."
Ce scraper est fabriqué avec un acier allié d'outils résistant, affûté et prêt à l'emploi. Des instructions sont incluses avec l'outil.
Caractéristiques
- Trois outils, chacun avec deux têtes de tailles différentes.
- Grand : 1" (2.5cm) et ¾" (19.0mm).
- Petit : 5/8" (15.9mm) et ½" (12.7mm).
- Octogonal : 1" (2.5cm) et 11/16" (17.5mm).

Good Tool for Scraping any Flat Wood 11/12/2014
I have used Jerry Fisher scrapers for 30 years.
This flat scaper allows you to work any flat surface in the inletting. It ca also be used to clean up edge in places like a shadow line cheeck piece.

First ..I am a first time user and a first time maker of a fore end for a Schutzen fore end. I started out with a 3/4 " burr placed in a drill press to set the initial path of the burr . I found the that I would have to set the fore end piece in a drill press vice so that the wood would slide in the vice. I also the found that I even had to tip the piece to engage the burr into the wood (English Walnut) This at least, set the path for the beginning of the inletting for a tapered barrel. (swamped barrel) After taking a bounty paper towel (no interest...just love them )I was able to take the inletting black, also from Brownells (I think the gold would have been too light ..I am 70 years old so....)Coating the barrel with the black and the spinning it into the the new started barrel grouve I found that this scraper while just removing the highlighted black area ...many many times produced a barrel grouve inlett that was not only perfect but put my inlet actually a little low, Perfect, now I could sand or scrape off to make the top surface perfect with the appropriate depth. This was great because I lost control of the tool (my error) the top surface was then perfect. I purchased the other barrel inletting tools in anticapation of problems...don't bother...just buy the scraper...in fact buy them both ...large and small. I only purchased the small ...I could have used the large in the swamped barrel but I managed to do fine. I do not have a financial interest in this company , but I wish I did. I hope this may be beneficial to you in your inletting. Bill
