Description du produit
Le buttstock ajustable de Daniel Defense est fabriqué à partir d'un mélange exclusif de polymères renforcés de verre, avec un surmoulage en caoutchouc doux aux points stratégiques. Ce nouveau buttstock est formé avec précision pour les extensions de récepteur au standard militaire, offrant très peu de jeu avant ou latéral, un problème courant avec de nombreux autres modèles. Cela élimine le besoin d'un dispositif de tension ou d'un verrou de friction.
Tous ces éléments se combinent pour créer un buttstock durable qui permet au tireur d'obtenir un cheek weld confortable et répétable, ainsi qu'un contrôle sans précédent de l'arme. Le buttstock peut être utilisé avec l'un des deux buttpads inclus ou sans aucun buttpad pour s'adapter à l'équipement que l'opérateur doit porter. Les buttpads sont disponibles en deux tailles : une forme convexe plus épaisse (0,8”) et une forme concave plus fine (0,5”), conçues pour éviter de se coincer lors du tir.
Des points de fixation QD à rotation limitée sont intégrés des deux côtés du buttstock pour une connexion de sangle ambidextre.
Améliorations du grip
Le nouveau grip de pistolet Daniel Defense est une amélioration par rapport au modèle A2 classique. Le grip a été conçu en tenant compte de l'ergonomie et de la contrôlabilité. Il partage l'angle du pistolet classique 1911 pour une position de main la plus naturelle et un confort optimal. Ce grip de pistolet intègre une garde de détente surdimensionnée qui couvre l'espace entre le grip et le récepteur inférieur, ce qui peut être inconfortable pour la main du tireur et qui s'adapte facilement aux gants.
L'installation est simplifiée grâce à la garde de détente intégrale qui ne nécessite pas de goupille, réduisant ainsi le risque d'endommager le récepteur inférieur. Une section de surmoulage doux améliore la prise, qu'elle soit mouillée ou sèche.
Grip vertical amélioré
Mis à jour en 2014, le grip vertical amélioré inclut désormais un surmoulage en caoutchouc doux pour une meilleure prise, qu'elle soit mouillée ou sèche. À l'intérieur du grip se trouve un compartiment de rangement étanche avec un double joint torique, capable de stocker de petites pièces ou une batterie AA ou deux batteries CR123. Ce grip vertical est extrêmement léger et utilise une méthode de montage simple mais durable.

The Daniel Defense adjustable buttstock is constructed of a proprietary blend of glass infused polymers and finished off with soft touch rubber overmolding in strategic points. The new buttstock is precision formed for mil-spec receiver extensions to have very little forward or lateral play that is so common in many other buttstocks. This eliminates the need for a tensioning device or friction lock. All of this results in a durable buttstock that will give the shooter a comfortable and repeatable cheek weld and unprecedented control of the firearm. The buttstock can be run with one of two included buttpads or without any buttpad at all to custom fit the rifle to whatever gear the operator must wear. The buttpads come in two sizes: a thicker convex shape (0.8”), and a thinner concave shape (0.5”); designed to keep from snagging when shouldering the rifle. Limited rotation QD swivel attachment points are integrated on both sides of the buttstock for ambidextrous sling connection. The new Daniel Defense pistol grip is an improvement to the old standby A2. The grip was designed with ergonomics and controllability in mind. The grip shares the angle of the classic 1911 pistol for the most natural hand position and comfortable feel. This pistol grip incorporates an oversized trigger guard covering the gap between grip and lower receiver which can wear on the shooters hand and easily accommodates for gloves. Installation is simplified by the fact the integral trigger guard doesn’t require a roll pin so there is a reduced chance of damaging the lower receiver. A soft touch overmolding section enhances grip, wet or dry. Updated in 2014, the improved vertical grip now includes soft touch rubber overmolding for enhanced grip, wet or dry. Inside the grip is a Dual O-Ring, water tight storage compartment capable of storing small parts or 1 AA battery or 2 CR123 batteries. This vert grip is extremely lightweight and utilizes a simple yet durable mounting method.
